Hello Everyone

I've been reefkeeping for over 20 years now, I've had my fair-share of mishaps (some my fault, some not) but the enjoyment has far outweighed the depression. My family and I moved from California to Texas about a year ago and I setup a 225g sps-reef almost immediately when we moved in. Its been growing out well but I've missed having a large tank so I pulled the trigger and ordered a new tank and stand from A.G.E. It will be ready in about 5 weeks, and in the meantime I will be removing a wall that divides our living and dining room, to make room for the system. There wasn't a convenient or inexpensive way to plumb the tank to a fishroom so everything, including water change station, will be under the display. Tank and system specs bellow.

A.G.E. 3/4" Glass tank, 1" PVC bottom, 2" steel bracing on top and bottom. - 103" X 42" X 36"
Advanced Acrylics Sump - 70" X 38" X 24"
Advanced Acrylics ATO/Water change tank - 16" X 38" X 24"
Lighting - Radion G4 Pro X 8
Skimmer - Octoput ELite 220 X 2
Flow - Maxspect Gyre 350 X 3, Tunze 6095 X 8
Octopus CR220 Calcium Reactor with 2 additional reactor chambers

Brilliant dimensions for the new tank I am looking forward to seeing this come alive!

Hangi marka resif tuzu you use?

I’m going to be utilizing 8 Tunze 6095’s for about half the flow in the tank but I didn’t want to have magnets all over the outside of the tank. I found some furniture grade pvc caps that were perfectly flat so I could use them for the Tunze mounts. Then I just popped apart the controllers so I could unplug the wire and run it through the pipes. I’m going to mount these to the braces that run across the top of the tank. With the water level a couple inches below the braces you should only see the vertical part of the PVC above the Tunze’s. Not all that pretty, but I like this more than having magnets and cords in the tank.
