6g First Reef Tank Ever.

A little background on the tank. Fluval spev V. Running for eight days, SPS Coral, 2 snails, a duncan, using a dimmable LED light (mars aqua), stock pump, changed, and an rw8 wavemaker
Im planning on weekly water changes.

Suggestions? Tips?

Kind of new to the game for SPS, it can definitely be done, just be diligent. Do you have a sump for this thing? The more water volume, the better.

Negative, not sure exactly how to do it. Currently trying to figure it out.but id love More room for buffer

Upload some pictures of the whole setup. Is this on some kind of stand? Is there room under the stand where you can put a tank? What kind of tank is it? Manufacturer and acrylic/glass?

That is it. Its a Fluval Spec V. And yes, its an older dresser I can modify it to fit my needs. I'm working on the specifics of moving water in and out of the tank and refugium

Maybe a little to much for 6G.

Like the aqua scape.

How's the rw8 on 6g?
Our Rw4 is dialed low on standard 29g and seems strong.

Got it as low as it will go and have to deflect off rocks. Def to big. Need to go smaller. Live and learn.
