Poscillopora. Died back after placement but looks like it might recover.

Very nice. Do you mind giving some specifics on your set up and maintenance? I have a 7 gallon that I'm setting up and would very much like to fill with similar LPS and Zoa's

-Mr. Aqua 7.5 Bow front
-Finnex HOB refugium with light
---bio media pebbles
---chaeto
-Aqueon HOB filter
-Maxspect Celestial full spectrum LED
-Jebao SW 4 on lowest wave setting
-Aqueon heater
-BRS and LFS dry rock
-Caribsea live sand

I do at least 10% water changes weekly. Siphon the sand maybe once per month. Brush off rock when needed. The large volume of stony corals require 2mg each dosing of alk and cal supplements nightly. I take the refugium off roughly every 2 months, and clean it out. I trim the chaeto when needed. I probably change the Aqueon filter cartridge once every 6 weeks. Does that help?

Beautiful tank! Love the look of the LPS... Especially the plate and Acans.

Very much, thank you.
I want to have a very similar set up. I was debating springing for a CPR aquafuge 2. For use as my HOB fuge. One of my big concerns is lighting my fuge at night and not having too much spill over into my main tank. Are you using the factory pump to run you finnex fuge? I've read a lot of negatives about it, that's why I've been hesitant to go that route.

Yes. The factory. I haven't had a problem. The tank's been running for months.

Wanted to give some updates:

I rehomed my Blasto Wellsi, gluing the flat plug to the top of a piece of rubble because I believe being directly on the sandbed may have been stifling its growth.

New Montipora Setosa given to me by a friend because her puffer was gnawing on it.

The time has come to upgrade. I will be transferring all of the livestock, rock, sand, filter media, etc. into a larger tank. The equipment list so far includes:

-IM Nuvo Black 20g
-AI Prime HD
-Larger HOB power filter

I will no longer post updates in this thread. The new thread can be found here:

So, on to one last update:

I purchased this BEAUTIFUL Maxima Clam from ORA at a local aquarium build/maintenance operation that keeps a bit of livestock on hand:

This meteor shower type cyphastrea is also a new addition. I am trying to acclimate it to the LEDs.

And, my Fungia appears to be deteriorating from the mouth out. I hope that I can either save it, or that it will turn into a factory. :(
