All my LED fixture has two red LEDs in each fixture . I assume it's in the 700-800nm range. I do understand nm wavelengths.
Two opposite opinions I'm reading:
1) "Red LEDs only grow green hair algae in your tank....so they're BAD. DONT TRUST THEM!!!"
2) Many LED mfgrs say "the 700-800nm red wavelength is CRUCIAL to coral photosynthesis. USE THEM!!!"
Let's talk about the Pros and Cons
