Nice planning and drawing.

Congratulations to these clowns for being finally mature! :)

It's the first time I've seen them laid eggs.

Run out of Prodibio bacretia and decided to try some new stuff instead.

Here is how Dr. Tim's Waste Away looks in Europe. Don't like the look of detritus I can't siphon out. Will see if it make any difference.

Here is a bacteria blend from European company called Marinekraft. It's supposed to be your typical cycling bacteria. Similar to Prodibio BioDigest, I guess.

And that's another product of the same company, Koralen Shnee. As far, as I understand, that's quite similar to KZ Coral Snow.

Haven't tested for calcium for a looong time, since I use all-in-one Red Sea ABC+ powder. I.e controlling alkalinity level I supposed to control calcium also.

Today my Salifert calcium test reads 650 ppm  It seems this all-in-one additive might not be so homogeneous as expected all the time :)

Can't believe my last FTS was three months ago! I was sooo busy starting a new job, the tank was neglected for a while.

Adding that much dry sand at once wasn't a great idea. System's balance was heavily disturbed, causing new phase of bacterial "warfare". Some dinos lost the fight to diatoms that were in turn devoured by cyano. And to make things even worse, 86F heat hit the tank :)

Anyway, here is current FTS. Nothing much has changed. It's still the same LPS-dominated, half-filled average reef as three months ago :)

Current params I've aware of: temp 78.8F, kH 8.2, Ca ~500, NO3 5ppm.

How many fish have you got in there?

Current livestock: foxface, azure damsel, diamond goby, 2 bangai cardinals, 2 pajama cardinals, 8 blue-green chromises, 2 clowns. CUC team: fire shimp and some snails.

Impressive. very balanced system

I commend you on your patience. The tank is also looking good. I am just as bad to change something and then go "I should have not done that", I just do not have the patience you do. I would have changed 15 things after that, got mad, and then gave up, and it would have corrected itself when i gave up and left it alone.
