Heres the 10g nano/qt tank I set up. Nothing special standard 10g, heater, 2 powerheads, and a pc fixture that I want to change to leds when bulbs go bad but I still have 2 sets so it will be a while.

As for the 72g I have a reef octopus skimmer, diy cree leds with dimmable drivers and a typhoon controller, 2 powerheads 1600gph, jbj ato, aqua rio return pump 625gph I think, and a spectrapure 90gpd for ro/di water

Welcome to R2R!! Great to have ya!! Nice lookin' reef you got there!!

Quick question. I dont dose anything besides a tiny bit of kalk in ato. I do weekly water changes between 5-10%. I usually dont test because most of my coral is frags so the demand isnt high. I have a squamosa, and around 14 frags. i tested tonight because my nuclear palys havent looked so hot the past few days and I got ca 400, ph 7.8 at 7pm, kh 7, and mg 1130. Is there anything I should adjust? All other corals and clam look good.

Added sand to the nano to see if I want to add it to the 72 eventually. Its sugar sized and looks nice so far.

Im getting brown fuzzy algae on the glass lately. Not sure what it is. Could this be from the ltpc dying? Would running some carbon help? Here is the pic, not the best its a cell pic

If that is in the 10gal you just put sand in...... it is probably going through a cycle. Keep an eye on your amonia and nitrites.......
