72" Led's Ebay

I want to upgrade to an led system on my 180 mixed reef tank but can't afford to spend a small fortune. I found these on EBay but am not sure if it would be enough. Is it a case of too good to be true? Any thoughts or advice is greatly appreciated.

I use 2 reef breeder value fixtures on a 90 @ 179 a pop and you can get Custom colors!! 1 fixture supports sps in a 24 inch square and Lps @ 36 according to Logan @ reef breeders. You could do 4 for less than $600, plus he probably would give you a multi purchase discount.

It's only blue and white which is a 12-18 month old color. Better fixtures offer a wide variety of led colors and work better. 84 white and 28 blue is WAY too white, it's even older technology. It's 112 leds over a 6' tank, that may work for very basic corals or a FOWLR. I have two EverGrow IT2080's over my 180g. That's 198 leds and built-in controllers. If you want to go less expensive, do 2 or 3 OceanRevive (a sponsor here on R2R, see below) Arctic S026 fixtures. I switched out EverGrow D120 (same as Reef Breeders 'value fixture') for OceanRevive Arctic S026 fixtures over my frag tank and local/QT. They run even cooler than EG or RB (which are already cool), they spread the light better (leds cover 98sq.in. of fixture vs EG & RB 40sq.in.) and they just look better (much slimmer and more modern looking).
