I figured out why my salt water was mixing so cloudy :) Instant precipitation of Calcium.

Turns out it mixes pretty clear when its not at 20 alk lololol

Learn something new , perfect the craft daily.

I have one lol, the RODI comes out clean , it was taking top bin water (ATO with Kalkwasser etc in it) and mixing in bototm with Salt water.

My GOOF you saw that precipitation. Coulda painted a house with that chalk
 
I'd get some emory paper and crazy-glue it (maybee 2) to a flat board. I'd then run the glass across that alternating sides so you don't put a crook to it.

I've just learned my grandfather in law has a belt sander :D

Might be using that instead :D

be careful ,will remove material really fast ,and not evenly on glass ??
stick with by hand ,JMO...

everyone online is saying itll take hours of hand sanding :s thats why im worried.

you guys think no? I can start there.

better done right than fast... i always used a very very fine grit sand paper or emery paper when polishing edges, or trying to take a little extra off
