Probably the calcium nitrate doser. And not enough alk in top off.

How long since you've taken the housing off and blown them out? According to Kessel it should be done every 6 months.

I have never tested alcohol content but could be interesting to play around with second fermentation included.

Upon further research. It requires a Gas chromatography thingy and a chemist to run the test. Not worth. Lol

Bacteria eats some of the sugar so the float normally used for beer doesn't work.

Tooth brushed the rocks some, DIY reef flux administered . Looking more like a reef every day.

taking the algae cleaning little by little

CUC is moving to the spots I dont reach like behind rocks on back wall.

Considering something to monitor PH just so I can know where I land and if i need to do anything about it, but then again things look pretty good. so why not just spend that on some coral/fish
