Weirdly... Water change made my nitrates raise? could be testing error as well...

Going to leave tank as is i think. Nitrate feels high but i know others run high. I'd like it to be a little lower... 30s. Tank seems settled. Calcium also seems high, but I did recently add. So it should come down, as KHG replenishes Alk.

Alk is where I want. Phos where I want.

Sometimes salt has ammonia sources in it so it could be nitrates from the salt or source water.

Well that seems to defeat the purpose now ... lol

I want to cut 20 ppm and added +2 :(
You run RO, right? Check your water you're mixing and make sure it's not your filtration.

I think Hanna said it works on salt and fresh.

Or, hear me out here... You might want to sit down for this...

RIP CLEAN!
No shot. I ever rip clean.

1.4N on source water. So not adding. Should've subtracted. Assuming testing error. Will test tomorrow.

what if its a well? lol
Is it your well or a well operated and maintained by a company? If it's a personal well, you're not necessarily required to filter, but if you sell to someone else you probably are.

I read you shouldn't deionize your drinking water unless you re-ionize it afterward. It'll make you incontinent and will weaken your gums among other side effects.
I was doing it for awhile till I read up on it and found I should only RO the drinking water.
