72x30x18 DIY build thread

Display fuge is over filled now. Gulf coast ecosystems order came. Everything was way more than I thought I'd get and I have extra brushes and more that idk what to do with .

But it was better priced than cherry picking species. So I have extra in the sump right now. Waiting on the pico light I won. Might honestly throw some of the extras out.

Tangs eat extras too haha

Gorgs are every bit 8+ inches I still need some sand or substrate eventually.

Ball sponge looks really cool. Wonder how long it'll keep.

I run carbon 24/7 and it's down the line in the sump from this tank. So should keep any issues away. Man it looks so cool...
Your little puffer looks like a boss up there. He needs some shades and a cigar.

Here's my thought, don't knee jerk reaction.

What if your other corals need some of what's missing? Iodine something easy.

Or calcium is lower than you think or mag lower.

That wouldn't nuke other corals. Make the change overtime.
@F i s h y ---see they grow up so fast

Is the boss in that tank.

Only competition is pods. And he nuked their population and saved the algae. So he/she stays.

Though those adorable sea horses still tug at my heart strings to put in this tank

So generous..... just need everything to bounce back after shipping and then Ill start trimming things to how we want it to look. Pico light comes tomorrow for the sump overflow portion.

Installed the reef breeders pico I won!

For overflow macro and other stuff. Gsp has been dormant for a week or two and it opened up like nothing new happened.

Excited to have this on at night as an overnight fuge. Running.

Has a timer setting im interested to try out.
