Hmm.... But my lights arent at 0% white.
Some of the experts say PAR from white doesn't count. Turn your whites to 0%, then check your PAR readings for accurate usable PAR. Whether they're right or not, I have no clue. Whether it's that big of a deal or not, I also have no clue. Are we talking going from 300 to 280? How much of a difference is that going to make?

So like calories from chocolate cake, or ice cream or potato chips or.......

Exactly! That's why we only eat Chocolate Cake Ice Cream with potato chips on the side.

Dude I wonder what par was before the change to lower light mount height 6 inches and it was on the higher color less intensity.

I also think the middle kessil is the newest one I added so it's 2 years newer. And I remember reading something about kessils improving the diode layout. Even testing par output between that middle one at the surface and the others there's a definite difference.

Picked up a fromia star and and emerald crab.

Star goes in reef
Emerald to the fuge with puffer, wife wanted it. Told he may or may not get eaten.

They had a linckia , was almost double price and I've heard better captive success with fromia. Look about the same to me.

Restarted dosers for phos and nitrate. Fuge is using :) and coral.

Unplugged skimmer plug and letting it just run for co2 scrubbing

Maybe low on phos causing dinos a bit. On the macro. New growth isn't affected. Letting it ride still and cleaning it off with turkey baster daily.

I swear the coral moved more today with the added par

Today's picture walking by everyone at the glass to greet. Even the flame angel and tomini which are by far the least social.

Star fish is good. Emerald crab mia but I figured he's tucked in a crevice munching on something from the fuge.

Wife took a pic of our starfish today . Apparently really strong and is holding this rock up all on its own. Hehe

And we installed the new UV unit , hopefully this one does not corrosion out of working condition trying a vertical install vs horizontal.
