How long do you continue this treatment?
I never had any large brown jelly outbreak so I didn't need to do it for long.

A lot of mine was preventative as I freaked out when tons of people started having issues with same vendors I used.

I'd say over the whole time the longest period I used it was for a solid month.

Right after I got imports.

Then after thaidI'd stress out and do it every once in a while just to make my head clear.

When you frag ypur torches ,what do the inside of the skeletons look like? Is there any coloring?

Take a picture next time so we can really tell.

It should be bone white.

Any discoloration means the bacteria has gotten to the skeleton structure and will get to all heads eventually.

Or you have to cut everything off that is discolored until just white is left. Which usually means butchering a colony.

Cipro prescription secured. Ready to get along with treatment bin set up etc.

Need to write down a protocol and stick to it as best I can. Focus will be on that , tank is in great shape otherwise.

A lot going on as well, just ordered phyto culturing DIY stuff to give it another shot.

Should have some great updates soon, and will try my best to document progress successes and losses along the way.
what did you end up getting for the phyto set up. on the fense with setting one up with travel in September

I got 2 containers with a spigot, some lights, and ordered 2x nano , one tetra dish. And got f2 fertilizer.

I had a bubbler with a manifold already.

Mine have been dark... black or dark brown. Necrosis for sure due to bacteria. I've even tossed perfectly good heads from the same colonies just to be sure. Mine seems to be clearing up with cipro baths.

You basically have to know someone... Lucky me...
I never thought to ask any of the vets I work with :face-with-tears-of-joy: I have a cipro rx my husband ended up allergic to sitting in my tank med kit though.

Testing the bath this am, no heater but bubbler looks good for movement. Put towels on top to hold heat in for a couple hours.

Torch after 15 mins was showing good signs. Yesterday.

But today jellying started again.

I think good odds to get it back on track. Probably lose what's infected visibly. But others good odds hopefully.

meant for both of ya' you and @danieyella ...pushing the pills..^^^... ;) :grinning-face:
Pushing gummies for sure. Helps me sleep and honestly I think it's helping to recover from runs. Muscles relax more.
