Starting my 75 gallon build, stand almost completed once I finish the painting and staining of the stand. Stand is 35 inches tall
And very solid!

Plenty of room for my trigger systems sump 36 inch crystal

Will be drilling the tank for a eclipse overflow, tomorrow hopefully.

Will add more pics as progress is made!

Question... will the eshopps eclipse large be too big for my 75 gallon build? Or should I go with the medium size? My sump has two filter socks and two drains holes, so I was going with the large size.

I would think that especially if your return pump is variable speed— but even if not— by having some valves along the plumbing system you can get the flow you want; so I’d go big.

Definitely NOT too big. I used the Exotic Marine Systems 32" overflow, which is much bigger) on my 75. The only concern I would have with the Eshopps (any size) is that on everyone of their overflows, I have had to place a piece of acrylic over part of the weir to keep the water level above the bottom of the trim.

Sump too big...not sure I've heard that before. Let us know when you have too many corals or your fish are too healthy. :)
It's not the sump he is asking about. The OP is asking if the Eshopps Eclipse L overflow is too big for his system. Maybe hold off on the sarcasm and respond with helpful comments. :)

Ah...thanks I misunderstood the OP. Humor was intended not sarcasm but always appreciate being corrected without being rude about it. See that was sarcasm...and humor. :)

I was not offended in any way! LOL
All is good!

Been a while... had to pause the build. But I'm back.
Ready for leak test.
