75 gallon flat back hex front reef ready build with algae scrubber

ok so this is my 75 g tank I'm downsizing from the 125g to. I'm sad to see the big guy go. But I have this cool flat back hex front aquarium that I going to switch over too. So I picked up the tank and stand awhile back for a sps tank. But now have other plans for it. So me and the crib lizard took the stand apart because it was to short so we made it a little taller, then added some more supports, and today put the first coat of paint. We kept the doors from the old stand and used them on the new stand.
We are going to put another coat of paint on the stand tomorrow then hopefully start plumbing the drain, return, and algae scrubber on Friday. And if I have any time left I will start on the rock work. Thinking about a 50/50 mix on my rock. I just got a 1000lbs of Fiji rock last weekend so I should have plenty to choose from.

So just moved the tank and stand into the library. It looks so good I just decided to stop and enjoy it and I will plumb tomorrow

Well the project got put on hold till I can get the tank resealed. After listening to the speaker at the frag show yesterday about leaky tanks, I checked mine out and even though it held water, didn't want to take the chance. So im getting it resealed this week, and will start again this weekend.
But im looking at this as a chance to change a few things. First the over flow is to small for me to stick my handn into and clean when needed. So that's going to be made bigger. Second the bulkhead is going to be replaced with a new seal and standing drain pipe so non inverts can climb into and clog the drain. It will be removable so i can still clean when needed . And last I will have more time to finish up my stand and go ahead and start on my algae scrubber pipeline and return line to the tank. Going to use a mag 7 pump to power the return line and algae scrubber. But trying to decide on which skimmer to use. I have always been a fan of one plus on things. And I picked up a coralife 220 skimmer at the frag show. Do I use it and have really awesome filtration or do I use my coralife 65 skimmer?

So I finally started on plumbing my algae scrubber. And also I took a picture of my algae scrubber currently running in my 125g. And yes I know its in bad need of cleanin lol but it slipped my mind last weekend with the frag swap and all. Then it wasb late getting home and having to acclimate new corals. But its clean now and back running properly
