This is my first build thread so hopefully I do it justice. Currently it has a sand bottom but I plan on doing the WWC/BRS method so I will remove the sand little by little. I want be able increase the flow without there being a sandstorm in the tank.

Equipment:
75 gallon Innovative Marine tank
APS stand ( included with tank)
Neptune System Cor 15 return pump
Cobalt heater ( can’t remember the wattage)
Nyos Quantum 120 skimmer
Radion 15xr (x2)
Neptune System Apex controller
Aquatic Life t5/led hybrid with 2 daylight and 2 actinic bulbs ( I won this in a raffle at Reefapalooza in Orlando
For flow in the tank there are 2 Vortech mp40 and a Mazpect gyre pump.
For top off I have an XP AQUA Duetto.

Oh and I’m waiting on delivery of my Trident

Looks good! I've got the EXT version and love it. Whats your plan for fish, coral, and an ATO?

Well fish wise I have a long nose hawkfish, skunk clownfish, six line wrasse and a royal gramma I’m looking to add maybe three more. Coral wise I’m looking to work my way up to easy to keep SPS. I have a xp Aqua duetto.

The new addition to the system plus it has a refugium but we will see how that goes I’m not sure how good the growth is

Well the refugium isn’t taking off as well as I would like perhaps their isn’t enough nutrients in the tank. If anyone has any suggestions I would be greatly thankful. Plus I removed the sand,as you can see in the pic included there is some sand which I will remove as I do my water changes. The light schedule is based on the schedule WWC uses which I grabbed from the list of schemes I got off the Apex. I would like to find one for flow or as close as I can get. If I can’t get the refugium going I’ll just return to the filter socks and use carbon and GFO. More to come

So I have decided to make some changes to the tank. I have had a scare with the ato. The sensor wasn’t working properly and it almost overfilled my sump,so pulled it. I may reinstall the Tunze osmolator. I pulled the ecotech/ATI combination and am going with a Kessil AP9X,I like the simplicity of the plug and play of Kessil. For flow I have 2 Ecotech Vortech mp40 and 2 Maxspect gyres. I also added the sand back I just didn’t like the look of the bare bottom. I’ll have to deal with the flow situation with the sand but it looks better aesthetically, plus I have been hearing that it works better with dry rock(I miss the wet dry rock and the surprises it came with). So those are the changes. I know it may set me back a little but we shall see
