Hi All

Just got a 75 Gallon 48x18 Tank and stand. Didn't come with a cover or lid and im not sure where or what to get

Any advice on options I could go for? I don't want it to be uncovered in fear of fish jumping out

Home Depot, Lowes & big box stores like them sell DIY screen kits w/frame rails, screen, edging and roller tool - I built two and they were like $13 ea

Could you send me a link to what you bought exactly?

Go to a glass store and get lids cut from 1/4 inch glass. I have always done this, they do not have a hinge on them, so nothing blocking light, and they are one piece. I get 1inch holes cut in the center for easy removal, and leave 1.5 inches or so in the back for cords or any HOB stuff. They also are cheap. They also reduce evap alot

brs claims that glass can block 30% of the light. This stuff works awesome https://www.bulkreefsupply.com/1-8-clear-netting.html. Just go to home depot and get screen frame and make this your self

You can also use this and this to create two lids for a standard 75g.

These are the clips. Cut the top horizontal finger off to make the BRS kit set flush or under the rim of the tank. Sorry, no part #. Like the one to the right though

I just built up d-d aquariums lids and they are significantly nicer than BRS diy version. I’ve got radion tank mount brackets and the BRS design doesn’t have a way to handle that. Red Sea kits are a solid idea as well
