Hey everyone.

This is my first large powerhead. I plan on running a mixed reef with the majority being softys and euphillia. There will be some SPS and a RBTA.

I just put my new MP40 quiet drive in and the thing RIPPPPPPPSSS water around.

I set it to max at 40% and it pushes a ton of water. I feel like its too much for my torch which is next to the mp40 but more off to the right. I dont really want to move the pump either but i think thats just inevitable :( Reason i dont want to move it is because my RBTA is right next to where Id put the MP40 and i dont want it to move...

Can anyone share what they run theirs at? Im also not sure what modes to run. With the reeflink i really want to tweak the crap out of my tank to get the best random-ness i can.

Current setup is
lagoon in the AM @ 20%
reef crest in the afternoon @ 30%
lagoon in the later afternoon @ 20%
then night mode

Seems like decent flow but again i think i could do more but my torch would be in a hurricane

I have 2 MP40s on a 75g tank and I run them off of an APEX WXM but the majority of the time they are running in Reef Crest Mode at around 80-100%.

My tank is a mixed reef with lost of SPS.

Here you go. Mine is in the middle of the tank 2/3 down to mix up the lower part of the tank.
