You should make that sump into a fuge. I have the same skimmer. I use the black bucket redsea. Why so high? I run it at 1.025, mostly everything is happy.

I always run at 1.026. I'm not going to have a fuge in this tank. I don't believe one would be needed and I don't really have the space. My marine pure block I'm putting in the sump will fill it up.

I went with 75 because it was cheaper and my ati light would penetrate better with less depth.

Makes sense, I currently have a 58 gallon oceanic but want to go bigger now. I am limited on space width wise. Just have to finish convincing the wife. LOL

Thank you. Usually everything I do looks bad but this one time I didn't cheap out and I took my time and didn't rush and it turned out beautiful.

I had some problems so I had to everything a little early. Going to watch closely and do water changes as needed but looks good
