Oh. Gotcha. Still think the tang will probably outgrow its house. Love puffers myself, but I don’t need one eating my torches and Gonis . With that slightly aggressive bunch of fish maybe a dwarf angel or hawkfish?Sorry I forgot to mention I've had the liverock for 3 years it is cycled. I just upgraded from a 55 gallon.
You may want to wait a few days before adding anything - Even though it may be cycled you don’t want to risk it. Wait Atleast a week if not 2-3 with just the bio load you have and measure ammonia, nitrate and nitrites each day.
Will do thank you I'll wait like your suggesting. I got lucky with mine. I have a a hammer coral and it doesn't touch it as well. Will the flame angel be a good choice or will that pick at my coral? The hawkfish is a good one but will my starry blenny pick on it or vise versa? How many more live rocks should I get?Oh. Gotcha. Still think the tang will probably outgrow its house. Do you have any white light photos? Will do thank you I'll wait like your suggesting. What do you think about liverock maybe a couple more?
The flame angel is just too expensive but I would like to give it a shot sometime or what about a flame hawkfish? I couldn't get a picture of the rocks with my white light. I was gone all day. I have 13 live rocks in the tank tho decent size atleast 8 pounds for 7 of those one of them weights about 13 pounds.I agree white light would be helpful. As for live rocks, about a much as gallons (so 75 lbs in total). Flames are beautiful, but like all dwarf angels a bit hit or miss with coral. I’ve got a 60 gallon and I’m debating on a dwarf myself. I’ve heard one of the best to try is the Cherub Dwarf angel. I’ve got an orange spot blenny and they don’t bother my other bottom dweller, a mandarin dragonet, so as long as there’s enough hideouts in the rocks , hawk fish probably be fine.
