I am buying a used saltwater tank that has been running for 13 years. The tank is a 75 gallon that has a snowflake eel. I am wondering what other fish can I put in the tank.

Welcome to reef2reef !!!
Have you looked in predator tanks ?

Eels arent really aggressive, just hungry. They will eat most things they can get their mouth around. That should be your criteria for fish.

Hello. Based on my experience I would consider lionfish, triggers, rabbit fish, foxface, and puffers as tankmates for a snowflake eel. Couple things to consider.... the size the fish will get at the mature age as well as the filteration capacity of your tank. These types of fish generally eat a lot and poop a lot which means your filter system will have to be able to handle the extra bio load.

Snowflake eels are pebbled tooth and prefer custaceans but they will take smaller fish if hungery enough.

Welcome to the hobby. You could look at a smaller tangs, dwarf angels, cinnamon or maroon clowns, black spot foxface, possiblities are endless.
