750 XXL hard plumbing adapter

hey guys and gals. i could use some quick help. i was able to order the whole plumbing kit thanks to all of your imput (appreciated) . i want to hard plumb the tank and run a manifold. here are some pics off R2R that were posted. i circled the piece i need. can anyone help me out. where do i get these parts and what sizes are they? i have messaged a few people but i understand everyone has things going on around this time of the year. i found Coral Vue and they have parts but i do not know sizes.

Looks like you circled unions, elbows and reducing couples. If you like white, this are all available at any plumbing supply house or more conveniently at HD or Lowe's. The size is determined by your tanks plumbing.....most likely 3/4 or 1 inch.

I do know that they sell conversion couplings, which I'd consider to make additions/changes here in the States easier.

For connecting the hard plumbing to the red sea pipes you use a 3/4" threaded adapter with 10-12 wraps of teflon tape. I used a 3/4" to 1" adapter, so I could use 1" plumbing. Really it depends on what you want to use AND what the output of your return pump is

ok so, the red sea pipe will need to be cut and an adapter put on correct? u mentioned threaded

No no no no no.... you wrap the threaded portion of the adapter in teflon tape and screw it into the red sea pipe.

If the 750 is like every other reefer you need the part highlighted in red below. Get that from Red Sea.

You’ll also need the 3/4” to 1” slip fitting. Use Teflon tape on the treads. It won’t thread in persay, but will be snug enough to get the job done.

sooo, a tank that's 2x the size of my reefer 350 still only uses 3/4" for the return??? wow, that sucks.

what would i need to redo the other 2 as well ? would i need to order 2 more return lines from red sea so that i can remove the barb fitting correct? or is there another way ?

If there is another way you’ll have to be creative and come up with it. The route I explained is what everyone else has done on their reefer tanks.

ok so i went to lowes today to snoop around. i took the return line with me to check fittings. i came across a schedule 80 extension nipple that had threading on 2 sides. i cut the threading off and it fit perfect inside the return. i then screwed a union on the other end. here is a pic. my sump is not the red sea one. i built a stand and sump for this. my stand is 36 inches tall so i have more space to work with. what do u think and opinions? im sure it should hold and not leak. i had to cut the stand a quarter inch near the bulkhead for parts to fit. kinda sucks but i will be painting it and making it cleaner tomrw.

my return red sea line looks like this. its not just a hanging straight down piece that can go into the sump....if i ordered new pieces do any other models fit same but have less pvc?
