Hope someone answers you soon. I wouldn’t want to put it in with “clean” corals till I knew for sure. Have a bucket you can fit a small heater on and put under a light till you find out?

I think it might be chiton.

They seemed to move faster than chitons.

I put it in the quarantine with my 3 other coral frags, worst case, I will frag everything off the plugs and start over.

This coral doesn’t look happy after the dipping.

I guess it is just a kind of pod. Do you know if they are a problem? My fast web search Indicates these are nothing to be worried about.

They would be a cool addition if I didn’t kill them all while dipping and pouring down the drain. Hopefully there are some eggs that will hatch.
I have so, so much to learn.

Yeah dipping pretty bitter sweet, Its important to do but its always hard to see all the cool critters not make it. I give my corals a pretty thorough look over when I get them and put aside any cool hitchhikers before I dip to figure out what they are and if I want them in my tank. I'm sure more will come on your next batch of corals
