Hi, i maintain a 75g reef mixed sps and lps barebottom tank.

The Tank is not covered, and now my stock fish are a flavescens, a escenius bicolor, two ocellaris one kauderni and one anthia.

Im looking for a new fish that can be maintained with this conditions, last month my centropyge bispinosus died and tank looks empty !!

Thanks in advance !

I'm from Barcelona, apologize my english ;=)

Yes that’s a lot, didn’t see a tang in your stocking list

Your English is great!

A flame angel always looks beautiful. But can be a coral nipper.

Coral beauty angelfish are less likely to nip corals.

I would suggest a fairy or flasher wrasse but they will definitely need a covered tank.

You have a beautiful tank!

How about another dwarf angel?

I'm sure you already thought of that...

Centroyge Loricula is a must, but with LPS can be a lottery ...

May be i should cover the tank, if i do that, wich beautiful wrasses can live in a Barebottom tank ?

Any of the fairy (choose smaller ones from among the fairies) or flasher wrasses, possum wrasses or pink-streaked wrasses should be fine without sand.

~Bruce, whose Spanish is nowhere near as good as your English

Fairy and flasher wrasses will be fine without sand, but definitely need a top.

Purple tilefish, a group of zebra or scissortail dartfish, a group of dispar or randalls anthias, flame or longnose hawkfish are a few other options.

That Yellow Tang can be a jerk to new additions once established, so keep that in mind. Among my recommendations:

Halichoeres Wrasses. Will leave the corals alone but can pick off the occasional snail, crab or small shrimp
Peaceful variety Fairy or Flasher Wrasses would be pretty safe bets
a Coral Beauty Dwarf Angel is worth a test/risk IMHO (I love mine)
A One Spot/Blotched Foxface. Just be aware the Tang might take exception to this guy since it is predominantly bright Yellow and has a flat profile like the Tang, but the Foxface has venomous spines, so it is capable of defending itself

Halichoeres wrasses bury, so aren't a good option for a barebottom tank.

Hi Buddies !!

Finally i bought a Jump Guard, and now my possibilities has increased, together the jump guard i bought too a pair of "Nemateleotris Magnifica", and now looking to add a wrasse, your advices will be very useful !

My next task is capture an Anthia that we call "Pit Bull" ;) , the agressiviest fish that i maintained by the moment, for now the trick of the mirror keeps her entertained.

Thanks !!

What species of anthias is giving you trouble?

A single fairy or flasher for a 75...

Lots of options there. Some of it depends on your budget. LA had C. rubeus and Lubbock's on sale for about 20$ recently.

Hi Nereefpat, the anthia is a "Pseudanthias squamipinnis", she has killed three fishes for the moment, but now it's funny look him spending all time in front of the mirror, (i joke my wife that now there is someone spending more time in front of the mirror than she !!)

LA it's so far for me, only about 5000 milles ;=)

Do you think that a single flasher for a 75 is enough, too much or few?, i never had a wrasse and i could be wrong.

My budget depends if i found something interesting, but i dont want to spend more than 70-80€, if can be less, better.

Thanks for the advices !

Sorry, I don't know how I missed the Barcelona part.

A single flasher wrasse is fine. You can do multiples, as long as they are different species. This goes for all Paracheilinus species, as far as I know. Popular and easy to find ones here are carpenter's, mccosker's, flavianalis.
