Hello all,

I finished cycling my 75 gallon and I have been adding fish
I added 2 valentini puffers one from my LFS and one from online.
One is 3.5 inches and one is 1.5, they circled each other at first and I saw a nip, but now they follow each other around the tank and seem like friends. Is this true? Or am I putting my fish in a stressful situation?

What are your opinions? I've read conflicting things in different places.

Not sure about puffers but lets see what the [HASHTAG]#reefsquad[/HASHTAG] says.

Any pics of your tank?

Generally, you don't want to put two puffers together you want to keep and eye out for any aggression. Problem with puffers is they love to eat zoas and other LPS corals.

Sometimes it works out, sometimes it doesn't. Having added them at the same time helps. If there is aggression, in most cases it will occur when they are first introduced together. The other time that aggression may increase is when the smaller one starts to catch up in size to the bigger one.

Don't forget montipora and Acros, they will eat those too!
