Beautiful tank the colors of your corals are vivid ,how long you've been dosing vinegar ?

Watermelon milli......the green seems to come and go.........the frag to the right has more green. It has been more of an orange at times too. Maybe once it's a larger colony it will settle in.

any picture on the tank setup itself?
love to see the picture of your 75g tank.

thanks

This makes me feel so much more comfortable having a 4xT5 on my 20 long without individual reflectors.

Great looking SPS.

Is having a different ballast making so much difference? Other than individual reflectors?

Thanks everybody, since there were some nice comments on the shortcake I thought I would post a recent pic. I almost killed it a month or so ago.....the rock it was on fell off it's perch & the coral was fine, but I made the mistake of leaving it there overnite & a lobo that was upstream from it trashed the whole upper half of the shortcake. I had to hack off the dead part, but it came back nicely and the base is going nuts now with all kinds of new sprouts

This shot is about 10 days old.

I don't currently have any full tank front shots because this is a short term holding tank and it's 23+ years old and has a lot of scratches. A lot of the corals are still kinda small & I don't have any kind of aquascape set up right now. I hope to change all that soon and have some great ideas about what I want to do.

Anyways, here's a few side shots that I took a few weeks back.

My setup is really simple. No fancy controllers, pumps, ect. I do have a Magus doser I've had for a year and haven't set up yet. Not sure why, but I'm so used to hand dosing two part for the last 5 years, I haven't been motivated to get it on line yet.

My ghetto T5 fixture--

The sump has an old Euroreef skimmer body and I added a Bubble blaster pump. There's a bag of carbon, some rock and that's it.

This is my under $25 top off system......an aqualifter, valve, & a digital timer. It works great. I had a Liter Meter that I ran for about 8 years or so, but the pump needed to be replaced and they wanted too much, so I made this other set up that works just as good at a fraction of the cost.

Once I re-set up my 120g or maybe a new tank, I'll make a nice hood, but the rest of the low cost/low tech setup will stay the same.

you might have answered this but how much do you dose and is 2 part all your dosing? Amazing looking sps by the way, nevermind found the info by looking at older posts. Again very cool sps man

What is it you think is the biggest part of your system that's the key to your success? Dosing?

A great example of how keeping it simple equals great success. Beautiful colors, great job.

The SSC still looks good. Nice to see just how simple your setup. I find it amazing that you've been dosing your tank by hand for the past 5 years...honestly that is top dedication. Thank you for sharing your coral photos and details about your setup. You are truly an inspiration. :)

howcome your 75g tank do not have the frame bar in the middle? I thought all 75g have this

thanks
