Started out a 75g tank this week. While it will run empty until after Christmas I would like to start getting my stock list together so I have something to look forward to :) It will be FOWLR for at least a year, then we would like to add corals (under Reefbreeder Photon 48's). 2 inch sand bed and 75-80 pounds of rock.

First things first: I see SO much conflicting information about clean up crews. Size... hermits/no hermits... what snails... My LFS says a mix of hermits and snails, ending up with 1 animal per gallon, but I feel like that's excessive. Any input/advice? We won't have any creatures that eat inverts (though for about 20 seconds we wanted a snowflake eel). Also would like an Urchin... is that doable?

Algae in sump: I think I want Chaeto. I read that a mix of several different types of algae is good for the system...but I don't want the algae competing for food... Also, when would I add the algae? I read not too early so that there is something for it to survive off of.

Now to the fun part: FISH! Here are our ideas. Any input would be greatly appreciated, including order :)
Chromis (how many? we have 1 blue/green in our 29 biocube that is picked on and we would like to move him over and give him some friends)
Flame Hawkfish
Mandarin (At least 6 months down the line, I understand the pod population has to grow substantially to sustain)
Foxface
Yellow Tang
Clownfish (2) -I'm intrigued by the anemone/clownfish relationship, but the female in our biocube like to nip my arms, so I'm not dead set on clowns.
Eibli Angel
Kole Tang

Also, we have the wrong lights. Well, not "wrong" but long story short they came with the tank (new). They are Fluval Sea LED's - and I have had my heart set on the Reefbreeder Photon48's for a few months now. I'm trying to sell the current lights and buy the Reefbreeders...will the fish need to be acclimated to the lights like corals would? That might sound like a dumb question but I think the lights are pretty intense and I didn't know if that could affect the fish adversely... ?

OH and a QT-I have a 10 gallon QT but I'm worried that will be too small for some of the fish to stay in "jail" for 3-4 weeks... Should I get something bigger? Ich seems to just continually stay at our LFS so would I treat any fish in QT for Ich or wait to see if they show signs? I don't want to unnecessarily stress anything but also don't want Ich in my DT
