75g tank missing center bracing

nowthat I'm almost done with my tank build, I've just realized I'm missing a center brace. Looks like it was cut off.

The tank is a 75g 48" x 18" x 21".

I've considered using weld on to place a leftover piece of acrylic on it as a center brace. Will that do the job?

Or should I drill holes and use plastic bolts?

Just got done talking with my LFS guy - think we're going to go with a replacement rim. That way it doesn't look all hodge podge.
