75G tear down

We've got our 180G up and running so we need to get rid of our old 75G setup. Corner overflow tank, screen tops, stand, IceCap 24 sump, Sicca 4.0 return pump and I'm sure some other random stuff. I need to clean the stuff up to post pics (and I'm going to paint the inside bottom of the stand with white appliance epoxy and killz like I did our new stand. Have no idea what a used tank and stand can bring since they have to be locally sold.

On average your looking at about half what you paid especially if it was brand new. I've learned tanks are kind of like trucks after a while they level out on their worth but never close to what you paid unfortunately

Yea I'll be looking to sell it all. Just need to get it organized and clean so I know what I have.

Its not a full setup. No skimmer, no lights. Basically reef ready tank (the corner overflow style), stand, sump, and then some misc equipment. I'll get them cleaned up this weekend to get pics posted.

I honestly haven't even thought that through lol. I know you don't get a great return on used tanks. I'm going to do some work in the garage today since it's kind of nice out and that includes cleaning the tank hopefully!

So these aren't the best pics. All the equipment was ran through an ro/di and vinegar mix for a few days and then straight RO/DI for a few days. I cleaned the inside of the tank the best i could. Everything has been sitting dry in my garage for more than a month.
