Might make a bigger sump out of my 75gal.. I have a 125dt, any suggestions on how many baffles, chambers ext. For the best results? Just running skimmer and fuge with cheato, I was thinking filter sock chamber, skimmer chamber, fuge chamber then return chamber, or should I do 3 chamber and put socks and skimmer together?

I like an open sump with adequate (not overkill) flow.

If you must do the refugium, put a single wall in the sump and pump water into it seperately so it overflows back into the main sump. Doesn't mess with the sump-flow that way.

Something like this pic... Imagine a little pump hooked up to that grey union, making a refugium our of the end-section, but no baffles in the rest of the sump. :)

Leave the rest of the sump open and keep your flow moderate - 2x to 4x your display volume in gph in actual flow. (not the pump rating) A 125 should only need 250-500gph.

Do that and you should have no issues. :) Even the filter sock should no longer be needed since there will only be minimal bubbles, etc, but you can still engineer it into the scene if you must. :)

The best part is that you now have a ton of open sump space to do whatever you want with. Makes cleaning super easy too.
