75gallon fishtank stand

I just built this stand with my husband. It's a 60in x 24in x 30in stand. My tank is a 48in x 18in x 26in 75gallon..3/4 wood piece will be the top. So is this sufficient for my tank. Yes my display is going to be centered. And a 40g breeder is going to be the sump. Ppl on fb said my tank will be free floating.

IMHO, that stand could hold your 75g tank even if it was full of lead rather than water!

Two points:
1) Be sure the top on the stand is 100% level before you add the 3/4" top. Over time the 3/4" plywood top can warp to match the top of the stand if it's not flat. That's bad for the glass tank.
2) When you set the stand in it's final location, BEFORE you set the tank on it, make sure the bottom of the stand stable and make sure the whole ting is as level as you want it. Some people can tolerate a 1/8" out of level with water a bit higher at one end than the other... an some people would go crazy over that look.

Thank you. Yes we will level and shim if we have to. We made the bigger stand because we are going to go bigger sooner or later. So we made the stand big. The too of the stand is a 3/4 solid piece of wood. We are polyurethaning it.
