76 days fallow almost over!

Well, on Thursday night (7/7/16), it will be officially 76 days for my DT going fallow from recovering from my Brooks outbreak. I have three survivors - a Pajama Cardinal Fish, a Melanurus Wrasse, and a Coral Beauty Angel. While in the Hospital Tank for these past 76 days, the Pajama CF lost part of his tail, the Wrasse got an ammonia burn, and the C Beauty got a bacterial infection. So I've learned all kinds of things with the help of everyone on this list, especially @Humblefish & @melypr1985 . And I now have more medicines in my fish medicine cabinet than my people medicine cabinet!

I also have two new small Ocellaris Clowns in QT for a few more weeks to add back in to the DT after quarantine to replace the 2 clowns that died in the Brooks outbreak. I figure get the survivors back in there first and let them settle in and then add the "newbies" when QT is over.

SO - as the date approaches, any tips on how to get back into the DT? I assume I will need to move them from the HT to the DT just as if I was getting them from the LFS - go through an acclimation to the DT. It's using the same water as the HT, and so far the parameters are pretty close, so it will hopefully be low stress

The Wrasse and the CB are still sluggish from being ill and being treated and still not eating well - even with garlic and selcon. My fear is that moving back to the DT might stress them and start problems all over. But again, I also think they will feel more "comfortable" in a tank with LR, a full sand bed, etc. and be glad to get out of bare bones HT.

When I move mine from QT to DT, I simply move them over without acclimation. I do this because I KNOW that my two tanks match salinity and temp. It's a fast transfer and then they are home. Never had a problem with this, even at the store where I do this so much it's ridiculous. If your sure the fish are disease free- then transfer them over one a time like, or like you would for a new tank. You dont want to add them all at once and overload your weakened biofilter.

Ok. Part of the old stock moved back into the DT. The sick fish are still in HT and will probably be there for a while. Sea Star that was added during fallow period is doing well. And two new clowns out of QT and into the DT. It's starting to get back to normal. Hopefully normal doesn't include any more sickness. Video attached of DT as of now.
