*** The 7th annual Bob Moore Frag Swap ***

In honor of Bob Moore we hold this event every year to carry on the tradition of giving away free coral to all our members, old and new! After last year's amazing success, the 2015 Bob Moore Frag Swap will be held at the same location at the Renton Technical College in Renton, WA on February 21, 2015. This year we will be featuring two speakers, more tables, contests, prizes, raffles, free gift bags, and more free coral! Also, there will be several aquarist clubs from the area attending with their own displays set up so be sure to stop and check those out! Our list of donors is already growing, and we are excited to put on this event for the PSAS membership this coming winter. Finally, there were many comments last year that there should be food at the event. So, this year there will be food available for purchase inside!

*Speakers*

Richard Ross

We are proud to announce that Richard Ross from the Steinhart Aquarium will be attending as our keynote speaker!

Eric, it was such a GRAND EVENT last year would not even think of missing this one. Last years 400 plus attendees may be small change to this one... lol

And those of you following some of 'PIF' (Pay it Forward) threads I'm on, this guy 'Bob Moore' above is who made the largest impact on me to this grand gesture of kindness and sharing of his knowledge in keeping Corals alive and even growing in our closed system aquariums back in the early 80's. When visiting his home to check out his wonderful Reeftank you'd have to be careful how you complimented the beautiful Corals within, unless you wanted a Coral to try in your own as he would simply stick in his arm and snap* off a little branch and say "Try a piece in your tank". IMHO Bob had as much to do with our success in this hobby as most of the Big names out there now. Bob, just did not need the accolades and seemed to be fine in the background. Though no longer with us he is remembered well in the Pacific Northwest.

Anyway if you are all in the Seattle area this is one event worth stopping by. Because of our vast geography this Frag Swap pulls a Tri-State + and a Canadian Provence demographically, Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Montana ? and British Columbia. So potential Sponsors please take notice.

Cheers, Todd
