Questions for trigger fish enthusiasts and experts.

1) Are they usually aggressive towards other fish?

2) Without a female, will the male at this size turn back to female?

3) Is the male at this size likely to lose its bright and distinct coloration without a female?

I had a male yrs back that turned back to female. I never got him a female. They sometimes go after smaller fish.

He was close to 9 in.

I was just a reading an article stating that sometimes if the other fish are dominant towards the Xhatch it can turn. But will turn back if he becomes dominant or will keep if he his dominant.

Do you think getting him a female will prevent the loss of color from happening?

Yes I believe so, I had him for 2 yrs then he changed.
