Yeah they are great tanks upgraded to LEDs and intank media basket no skimmer just 2 gal a week water change.

If your talking about my avatar pic then yea its in my other reef tank( well I have 4 so it in one of them lol) Its a Green and purple Wellso that is a little bigger than a volleyball lol, its a monster and is still growing like crazy

Nice Biocube.. What size is it and what kind of LED's are you using? I have a 14 that's just getting established and thinking about Steve's LED upgrade but I'm old school and kinda like the fluorescents.

I have truluman LEDs three strips they are so easy to install and kit can be bought on Amazon for $89.00!
I've had LEDs going on two years what a improvement over stock!!
Yes it's a 14

If you want an easy great kit go with truluman my friend has two kits two we are super happy with them ...
And talk about easy installation I gutted my hood and popped them in like 20 min!!

That's the kit very reasonable priced I added another blue atinic strip for more light..
Color is awesome no more replacing bulbs either!

Did you add on anything else with this? I see a dimmer switch, ramp timer, spliters, lol, lot's of other "stuff".....

Mkus, thanks for the info. After reading reviews and such, for the 29 it looks like I'd need 4 strips if I wanted to keep more than just softies, Zoas, shrooms, etc....still a neat, and easy concept though!
