My tank had an ich outbreak and was fallowed for 80 days while the fishes went through copper treatment foe 45d follow by 45 days observation in holding tanks. The fishes had been reintroduced for 45 days now and show no sign of disease. Should I wait for few more weeks before celebrating or can I declare safe and begin to quarantine more fishes. Currently I have 15 tangs and 3 fox faces including 3 hippo tangs, achilles, powder blue and a powder brown.

Goodness that's quite a stocking list. How bigs your tank? If everything went through proper copper treatment and the tank was fallow for a minimum of 76 days, then yes, quarantine all new incoming fish, but you should be good to go :)

All fishes were all treated with Cupramine at 0.45 ppm tested with Hannah color meter every 2 days for 45 days. The copper was removed by massive water change after that in the same tank followed by observation of 35days. I wanted to keep them longer but many have developed bacteria infections and 2 were lost. The tank is 10 x 4 x 3 ft with total 1000GL system volume.
