So the upgrade bug has hit and I am looking for options, but think I found the option in the 80 g Deep Blue Rimless. The tank has a 48 X 24 X16 foot print and I have a few things I need to sort out. Of course I am looking for others which have this tank and recommendations on equipment.

Equipment Questions:

1 . Return pump recommendations
2. Skimmer Recommendations. (I think I am going to get a Reef Octopus link: Reef Octopus DNW150 6? Recirculating Protein Skimmer - Bulk Reef Supply)
3. Calcium Reactor or Kalk Reactor?
4. Dosing Pump recommendations.

Thanks for the help. I am looking to get the tank end of year and have it up before Feb.

Ehiem 1262 I think it is. If you can't afford it In Your budget the RIO 2300 or 2500. Also put a ball valve in it* to adjust flow and great for water changes .
Skimmer I would goo with the reefoctopus Sro-2000 / then again I don't no how heavy your stocking is gonna be. I wouldn't do external skimmers only internal unless you doing a big tank.
Go with the calcium reactor .
Not too sure on dosing pumps as we don't use any.

Any other questions please feel free to ask!

We have a 60DB SHALLOW. As well as a few other tanks lol.
