80 Gallon Euro Tank Build

Alright everybody, so who is ready for another tank build? I just bought an 80 Gallon Bow front and setting it up as a reef. Right now, all I have is the tank and the stand. Just waiting on other equipment to make it here so I can start getting this thing in motion! Here is a few teaser pictures until I have some more

Here is a picture of the sump. It is a medium Reef Octopus sump with a baffle that can be moved to any location in the sump.

Thank you! I also received the sand that will be going into the aquarium. It is a very fine grain sand. I am just trying to find the best way to level the aquarium. That is the only thing holding me back from getting the water and sand in there!

A little update: Got the aquarium filled with water, and the sump also.. and one of the bulkheads decided to start leaking so I had to completely drain the aquarium and order new bulkheads. I will post pictures of what had to be done for those that are tagging along once the new bulkheads arrive

Alright, the plumbing and everything is finished up, and the aquarium is running with water and everything. No leaks, so far so good! From the overflow to the sump, I have a T that has a cap on the top, with an airline ran down past the bulkhead connected to an air valve at the top. It has a 90 coming out of the T the is turned down. This is where the water drains. The T, along with the standpipe, is all 1 1/4" pvc. It then connects to a 1" bulkhead by means of an adapter. Then. 1 1/4" pvc is connected by another adapter where it runs down to a shut off valve. and then down to a 90 that then connects to another T with a cap on the top and enough pvc to extend the bottom of the T underwater. On the return side, its all 3/4" pvc. Starting at the pump, you go up to the top of the sump, where a 90 is connected. Then some 3/4" pvc to two 45 degree angels, one right after the other. It then goes to another 90 that turns up to a check valve, and also a shutoff valve. After that, it goes to the 1" bulkead, and back to 3/4" pvc where it runs to the top and has two 90's that then goes into a 90 with 2 directions for flow.
