So I just won an 80 gallon frag tank in a raffle. It's set up, moved and re-cycled. I'm looking for ideas on fish to put in it. I'm looking for colorful, less-seen fish in the hobby (nothing run-of-the-mill but not too rare either) that will also serve their purpose to keep the tank.

Mystery wrasse?
Small Chevron tang?

I'm just looking for suggestions.

I like a good wrasse in a frag tank. I figure if you keep fish in a frag tank it better have a job right? Wrasse are known for eating pests, tangs are good for algae and the like. I like those two fish for your purposes. :)

Is it rimless? If yes then you need a screen top for the mystery wrasse. The chevron will be ok. But why two really expensive fish for a frag tank. Two spots are nice and not many people seem to buy them

What are the dimensions?

I am building out a 93 gallon frag tank, 36 x 30 x 20. Right now I have 2 Ignitus Anthias and a Kole Tang in QT. Along with those I'll be moving my Helfrichi Firefish, McCosker Flasher Wrasse, and Percula Clownfish into that tank and adding 1 or 2 additional wrasses, and a blue/green chromis.

Nutrient export will be algae scrubber, euro-reef protein skimmer and refugium growing macro algae.

A nice wrasses collection is always nice and helps with pests as said. Pygmy angels are hit or miss with corals but nice and do add a load of colors.

I should add that my tank was formerly a frag tank, hence the odd dimensions. I'll be turning it into an SPS reef tank.

Some less seen, but not too rare wrasses that also help with pests:
Halichoeres richmondi, H. leucurus, H. timorensis, H. argus, Xenojulis margaritacea, Pseudocheilinops ataenia.

If you want more than 1 wrasse, skip the mystery, they get increasingly aggressive as they mature.

Options besides wrasses that are just cool fish are: elongatus dottyback, rhino blenny, barnacle blennies, grammica goby.

He is right I have a mystery that would not stop chasing a yellow wrasse and they have been in the tank since December
