Hello everyone,

I recently acquired an 80 gallon hexagon tank that has a glass top cover. I want to add a light for coral/reef growth and possibly find a canopy, but I am failing miserably. Anyone have any advice that could assist me?

From one side to the other the width is 28".

Hello what type of lighting you wanting to do?

Also are you wanting to hang it or mount it in a canopy?

I'm looking to do either in the canopy, like i mentioned, currently it just has a simple glass insert for the top. I have been looking at some LED lighting systems that hang or you could mount it looks like.

Led would be the way to go on a tank shapes like that. Imo

Typed from my phone because I have nothing better to do.

I've seen a couple of metal halide/t5 that have the extension legs to meet my width, but as for a LED fixture, without a canopy to hang it in, I would need it to mount and not cost an arm and leg.
