I will be building a custom tank when I finish building my house as part of the backdrop for my Bar. I have decades in raising/ breeding freshwater, brackish, and hill stream fish but this will be my first foray into saltwater. I have around 20 tanks (5-135 gal) that will be used for QT, breeding, live food, or whatever I need. I plan on building this up over 2 years or so, scaling aggression and difficulty as I go. The tank size will largely be determined by how much money I have after completing my house, but looking between 800-1200. I will have a 300 gallon refugium/sump no matter what size tank it ends up to be. It will also be a mixed reef tank leaning heavily on LPS and Softies, with some (relative) easier SPS.
What I am looking for is realistic ideas to go with what I have already selected and mostly I get bored at work sometimes and I have run out of things to research (Information junky).

The tops are definitely on the list, the bottom list is high possibilities. Wrasse are highest on my list for adds, followed by tangs and angels. I will adapt my filtration for overstocking as needed, because I like fish (40+years).
