It all started, as many of you could relate, by getting the wife onboard.

This is the hardest part. Or maybe it is keeping her on board when it all goes south... lol

Had the tank running for a week or so until I got round to cable management. Still have a long way to go, I have no idea how everyone does it so well. I was stoked to get it as it is.

Realised I was losing about 10litres per week evaporation , there went the open top tank idea
Went back to my glass cutter and got some lids cut, perfectly cut by the boss. Couldn't of been neater.

Today I picked up a clam, nothing ultra but I've always wanted one

Finally got rid of my sixline wrasse. He bullies everyone and i having been able to keep multiple wrasse. I made a bottle trap and it didn't work with food so I put a mirror in it. Lil guy was so aggressive he went in to attack himself.

Picked up a beautiful blueside fairy wrasse. Eating out of my fingers day 1. Sooo much better than the sixline, always out and about

Went and got a little aquamedic multi reactor. Everyone online said they were great but noisy. So i rigged up my eheim compact 300 to use instead. Tried the aquamedic pump and seriously dont get thw complaints. Using stock, saving the eheim for something else.
Been running a week, will change the carbon phosguard ratio as its more for turf algae than anything else
