80g DBP shallow reef build

On my way to pick up a dragon soul torch. Super excited! Meanwhile... The carpet is putting up a good fight. I really wonder how long this is gonna go on before one moves.

Wow :) Everything looks so nice and big in there.
Thanks! Still trying to fill everything in right now. Only 3 fish in the tank haha. Pretty sure the carpet has eaten 3 chromis and a bengaii cardinal lol.

Well I was planning a much more interesting update, but after adding 3 ATI Blue plus it's getting difficult to get the blue out of the photos. Anyways...

Seems the two have come to an agreement on space. I've decided to just leave them there.

I mounted all my frags and am very happy with the layout.

Picked up a Smart ATO and gotta say it's awesome. Seems a little sensitive to bubbles (spits some water when a large amount of bubbles hit the sensor) but so far it's working great.

And I'm leaving for two weeks on Monday, very nervous about that. I have a local club member coming to check in from time to time so that makes me feel better. But I'm hoping for the best!

Any tips for how to get the blue out of pics on a phone would be great.

Small update, got an ATO. Smart ATO, never heard of it before I picked it up. Seems to be working great so far. I got a male Blue Throat Trigger today, and good lord its one beautiful fish. I've always been more of a coral guy but I'm obsessed with this dude. My wife is in love too. He acclimated great and is happily swimming around the tank poking at things. Pics below. I leave Monday for 2 weeks and I'm getting more and more nervous. I've covered all my bases but still expecting the worst. The Dragon Soul torch didn't work out, I went to meet the guy and he never showed up, never responded to any messages after that. Super sketchy. Anyways, I'm looking at getting a Red Snooty Wrasse, they got some in at the LFS. But it's really hard to find info on them. We'll see if they still have them when I get back. Hopefully by then I'll have some more info on the species and what they require.

Got a melanarus Wrasse earlier. Was gonna snap some pics but of course it went straight into the sand.
