80g Shallow build

Feeling totally gutted this morning. Went to feed the fish and noticed the nahacky didn’t come out. Started looking around and found that she went down the overflow and died on top of my filter socks.

Well, a second fish has committed suicide today. I thought I was giving them a pretty good home but they seem to disagree.

I took a page out of Foxconn’s playbook and added some nets over the weir to stop the inhabitants from jumping.

they’re either fitting through the weir teeth or jumping over it though a small gap Between the weir and lid.

luckily(I guess?) it was the splendid pintail, had it been the earls, I think you guys may be seeing a flash sale on my remaining inhabitants and equipment. Lol

In a total brain-fart moment, I grabbed the bottle of phosphate solution and thought it was the nitrate mix. After dosing about 48mL I realized I had to wrong solution. ‍
