80g Shallow build

A few pictures of some new zoas and some older corals.
Frankie’s acid trips and Grand Master Krakatoa. Than some stratospheres and white zombies.

I’ve always been a bit of a zoa nut and have had these on the list for a while. The gmk pop like freaking crazy under blues.

I just ordered a c. Shutmani from Dr. Reef’s. I can’t wait to get some more fish back in the tank. I’ve got a feeling it’s going to be awhile before the wrasses I want are tracked down though.

Some top down shots while doing a water change today.

The tank is looking really good, I need to order some sps frags this weekend. I’ll be sending off another icp test later next week but I don’t expect any surprises since the last one.

Top right is chalice right? What's the name of it. Very nice.

Getting everything back in place and cleaned up. I’m working on a new hood for the lights, the tank is right behind my couch and the blue light can be real annoying when watching movies lol.

I’m also building a new cabinet for the electronics outside of the stand. Things were just too cramped with everything inside the stand. I’m trying to decide if I’ll mount a tablet on the cabinet or maybe on the wall behind the stand for the reservoirs.

Temporary mount for the tablet. Im making some corner brackets that it can slide into on the side of the stand.

I’m always leaving my phone places when I need to turn on feed timers, figured this was a good use for one of several tablets that have been in a drawer for a few years. Lol

So this is connecting wireless to Fusion through your router? Stays on all the time without going to screen saver?

I’m just using the web browser for it. It’s a really old tablet and I don’t think I can run the app on it. I actually haven’t checked but I will. It will stay on 24/7 but I usually turn it off manually.

I decided to make the switch from IO to Red Sea blue salt. The IO mixes up a lot higher than I’d like on calcium, mag and alk. I’m also turning my dual reactor into a carbon scrubber to help raise my ph in the tank.

I noticed the skimmate in the collection cup was really dark, almost black. Looks like that diy coral snow recipe really works.
Wow!
