85 Gallon Rimless for $359 - should I?

I had a 29 gallon reef for a couple of years and was looking at moving to a 45 gallon Cobalt Aquatics C-Vue 45.

I was at the shop looking at the C-Vue and noticed a rimless 85 gallon. The stand looks a bit cheap but the tank itself looks really nice.

It’s not drilled but I would like to put a ghost overflow in the back if I were to get it. The skimmer I have is big enough for a 120 so I’m good on that front.

I’ve had plenty of big fresh tanks but never a big marine. I only have about 50 pounds of live rock but can pick up more.

Should I go for it? Anything about running a larger marine tank I need to keep in mind over a smaller? I do have a 150 GPD BRD rodi and have room to have maybe 30 to 50 gallons of fresh water on hand.

Heck yea you should go for it but on top of research keep in mind bigger tank needs a bigger budget

It turns out that it's tempered glass and can't be drilled... Explains the low price

Does it come with a sump? Is the tank and stand new? If yes to either of those i would take it at that price haha but I’m a sucker for the rimless tanks

Yeah, disappointed. I haven't been able to find any decent rimless tanks nearby.

I went ahead and ordered a Red Sea Reefer 350. Now the waiting game begins.

Will have the return pump, skimmer, and RO/DI setup here and ready before the tank arrives. I'm trying to think if there's anything else I need before the tank gets here.
