Im selling an aquacare turbo 1 reactor set up w/ basitech 3 controller and Co2 sensor & optional mag reactor pipe...this system retail is 850+
The beauty of this system is that you DONT NEED TO MONITOR PH, AGAIN, NO NEES TO MEASURE PH and have an expensive control system monitor and cut the co2 when ph raises to high. The controller combined with the sensor monitors and prevents overdosing of c02. Also one of the most efficient systems made and as you'll see as one of the benefits, cuts down on algae as well
Herr are some details of the system.
* 78 to 82% less free CO2 in the outlet: AquaCare has developed a neutralization chamber that raises the pH of the outlet to 7,0 (unit 1) or 7,3 (units 2-5). This neutralization stage lowers the growth of algae extremely.
* light phosphate removal with chemo sorption.*
* extreme water velocity: every AquaCare Turbo Chalk Reactor is filled with special granules. The water is flowing this very high speed along this material. So, CO2 bubbles cannot be caught in the granules. The flow through the granules system is constant. No flow channels can be build as with traditional Ca reactors.*
No over dosing of CO2 in the reactor: the new control unit without measuring the pH of the water allows a very safe working with the AquaCare Turbo Chalk Reactor. Every time there is the right volume of CO2 in the reactor. No calibration! The control unit works with 12 Volts.**
I am selling because I am going pretty much NPS and my regular water changes along with some calcium in the top off, should manage just fine.
Im selling this on the cheaper end, because at one point a connector was busted but I fixed it with marine grade epoxy and it works PERFECTLY, no issues and really not that noticable, unless your looking for it...but lets be honest no one is entering their c02 reactors in a beauty pagent
I will throw in a co2 regulator (not very pretty, rusted on the back a bit...but its free and will at least get you up and running) all you'll need is a c02 bottle and a luft pump and this thing will be ready to go!!!
This set up could potentially save you some big money, because you dont need a whole controller set up, like a neptune system, in addition to the reactor its self, you also dont need a pricey c02 reg with solenoid as this eliminates all that for you. Also it will save you money in PH probes, as you dont need those, either
It has the mag chamber, so you can also run magnesium and keep those levels up as well...
As you can see this has everything you need to get up and running.
Its is a bit dirty, so you can clean it if you so choose.
