8oz phytoplankton?

Hi-started dosing phytoplankton recently-my lfs sells 8oz bottles of their culture- 99% sure thats the size roughly for $8-they recomended dosing every week-not sure if i want to dose every week-thinking every other week-my questions

Is dosing every other week a waste of time


They recommended going filter sockless permanently


They said just dump the whole bottle in tank in one shot

They recommended getting rid of mechanical filtration all together? That's odd.. and usually phyto has a dosage that people do daily.

Basically not believer in filter socks-said takes out too much and then if dosing coepods and phyto it all gets stuckor wont pass thru the filter socks-

I am bas with fikter socks i probably change them every 3-4 weeks i dont have the diligence to clean or change every couple days-

When asked on dosing they recomended we fill the bottles up for you and just add the entire bottle in one shot- and to do weekly
