8th month video update on 180g sps tank

Well guys here is my 1st attempt at video with my camera. I am excited as my tank reaches the 1 year mark. Some things have grown very well while others are still slower.
I wanted some kind of record before I start the trimming process on a few of my bigger pieces. I feel like the gardener who comes out once a week in the mornings to prune, and trim the garden trees, flowers and shrubs.
Well let me know what you guys think.

Sweet tank! Congrats on it hitting the 1 year mark.

My biggest worry is that we are heading toward hurricane season in Florida. But I have my backups! Lets hope I don't need them!

Ahhhh spoken like a true sp-es-er!
I was playing with length of vid and found that for some reason my laptop could not handle more than 2 min:30sec. I had one that was 5 mins and showed more of my sps's but could not get youtube to upload it. Anyway will post pics after holiday weekend.

Very nice, but a bit too much LR IMO. I wonder if the Purple Tang would benefit from less rock and more swimming room. Had a friend who's PT was starting to show signs of HLLE also and he removed LR and the fish recovered. They need more swimming space than we give them credit for. Other than that, very well done.

I have heard that before. Neon reef I bought this fish HLLE at a lfs. He was very cheap because of it. Since I've had him he actually is getting better. As for swimming space, well what the vid doesn't show is that the back of tank is opened as well. I have just one big island with corals on both sides. Only the left back cor actually touches the glass.
