8x54 t5 over a 75g?

I picked up a 8x54w t5 48" fixture today. could not pass up a good deal.
what are your options on putting it over a 75g tank. is it to much light for a 75g reef tank

No way. I'm running an ati 8x54w fixture over my 90 gallon and I love it

Ok i just wanted to make sure it wasnt to much.

I just set up a 6 bulb T5 fixture over my 75. It is a dimmable fixture. At 100% I had to raise the lights over 2.5 ft above the tank. Also with a window screen. The par levels were super high. Like 250 at the bottom. So be careful You don't burn anything. So now at 2 feet above , the fixture at 70% , the par readings are around 120 at the bottom.
